Renault’s Filante isn’t just another crossover—it’s the brand’s bold statement in its International Game Plan 2027, combining premium design, electrified performance, and high-tech features aimed at international markets outside Europe. The Filante’s global rollout begins in South Korea in March 2026, with planned expansion to Latin America, the Gulf States, and other regions by early 2027.

Design & Dimensions

The Filante fuses coupé-like styling with SUV practicality, presenting clean, flowing lines, a distinctive illuminated grille and slim LED lighting. Its dimensions make it one of Renault’s largest models—measuring about 4.9 m in length with a long wheelbase for generous cabin space. Inside, the cabin features three 12.3-inch digital displays, a panoramic glass roof, premium audio, and an augmented-reality head-up display.

Powertrain & Performance

Rather than pure battery power, the road-going Filante uses an upgraded full-hybrid E-Tech system built on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform. This setup pairs a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine with two electric motors and a Multimode Auto gearbox, producing around 250 hp and up to 565 Nm of torque. The hybrid system is designed for efficiency and capability, able to handle a large portion of city driving on electric power alone.

Tech & Safety Features

Connectivity and driver support are major highlights: the Filante includes advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), emergency steering assist, smart rear-view mirror, child presence detection, and a fully connected digital experience via Renault’s app ecosystem.

Release & Pricing

  • Launch: South Korea — March 2026
  • Subsequent Markets: Latin America & Gulf States — early 2027
  • Estimated Pricing: Around USD 48,000 (~€45,000) for the flagship trim, competitive with premium midsize crossovers.

This strategic release underscores Renault’s intent to expand beyond its traditional European stronghold and take on competitors in high-value international segments.
